Dharmendra Singh is Senior Professor in Electronics and Communication Engineering Department, Joint Faculty and Former Head of Department of Computer Science and Engineering, Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Roorkee, India. He is also the Coordinator of Drone Research Center, IIT Roorkee. He received the best innovation award in India Mobile Congress-2017 for development of Satellite Based Agriculture Information System, the best Industrial Research award-2017 by Institution of Engineers, Roorkee Chapter and National GOLD Award for e-governance 2019-2020 for research on Citizen Centric Services for the project by Govt. of India, Department of Administrative Reforms and Public Grievances. He has received Dr. Ajit Singhvi Institute Chair Professors in June 2018 and June 2021.
